The Star Inn is situated in some of Britain's most breathtaking countryside, just off the B4518 about 9 miles northwest of Llanidloes towards Machynlleth.
We offer Bed & Breakfast, packed lunches, dogs and horses are welcome and we're a great stop-off point on your journey.
You can choose to join us on a "Heal Your Life" residential retreat, or simply come for a break.
We are close to the Cambrian Way, Glyndwr's Way and Cycle Route 8, so convenient if you are looking for a B&B stop along the way.
From around Easter until the end of October we will be offering morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea if you choose to break your journey.
Parts of the building date back to circa 1640, and there is some colorful history associated with Dylife and the Star Inn.
