The pub, which exudes great character thanks to the many oak beams and columns, offers visitors the chance to sample a meal in the air-conditioned Grill restaurant or to enjoy a drink and snack in the bar or conservatory.
Licensed for civil ceremonies, The Barn has a long history of hosting such events with its delightful gardens adding to the spring and summer months splendour of weddings and private parties.
On a Sunday, the sole use of the premises – or just the garden or restaurant – is available to hire for a variety of celebrations such as christenings, birthday and retirement parties and weddings.
Food
At The Barn diners can enjoy either a range of delicious bar snacks or an a la carte menu, complete with a wide range of wines and Shepherd Neame ales.
The main bar offers extensive snacks, from sandwiches to hot dishes as well as freshly baked pasta and pizzas. Homemade burgers incorporating prime British beef and a specially-prepared seasoning are available and there is also a tapas menu.
In the restaurant, diners can enjoy a range of high-quality meals, including an array of Mediterranean specialities.
In addition to the a la carte dishes, there is a selection of fixed priced menus, with lots of choice, ranging from two and three courses and a special menu, which is ideal for small parties.
