Landlady Joan Robinson and partner David Simpson took over the pub in December 2009 and have continued to extend a welcoming family environment to all regulars and new customers alike. Locally produced, currently, a top seller, this very pale brilliant blonde beer has citrus and summer fruit aromas making it an extremely refreshing ale.

Tasting Notes: Sheffield Best Brewed 2011 at Sheffield's 37th Steel City Beer & Cider Festival Highly Commended at the Yorkshire Post and Harvey Nichols Taste Awards 2007. GOLD Award Winner in the Speciality Beers category at the 2007 SIBA North Regional Beer Competition.
