The pub takes its name from Bridgwater's famous carnival. First held in 1882, the carnival takes place every year on the first Saturday in November, and has its origins in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. The carnival claims to be the largest and most spectacular night-time event of its kind held anywhere in the world.
In 2002, JD Wetherspoon opened The Carnival Inn and has since become an established venue in the town of Bridgwater. It has a variety of both local and occasionally global, award-winning beers. The pub has a secondary fermentation process in place, which ensures that customers are delivered with the best-quality product for great value. Food is also available from 8am to 11pm. The pub hosts a variety of food offers with your favorite beer included in the price. So come see us for a pint and more details about our range of beers.
