The Carpenters Arms is a beautiful low beamed traditional family pub-restaurant. We offer a very reasonably priced menu, with good helpings, teamed with a varied wine list and real ales.

You can be assured of a warm welcome and a great dining experience every time. We stock a full range of drinks, two regular ales with 2 guest cask ales changing regularly, such as Thwaites Wainwright, Adnams and Spitfire. We are featured in CAMRA’s ‘Good Beer Guide 2015.’ Lagers include Fosters and Kronenbourg 1664.

We also have a comprehensive wine, spirit and soft drink list. The Carpenters Arms is full of character situated in the heart of Harlington, a picturesque village in Bedfordshire. We are located within easy reach of Bedford, Luton, Barton and other surrounding villages. The railway station and occasional bus service along with a range of country walks make this a popular stop-off.

His Pub offers a friendly and cosy atmosphere with open fires in the winter months and a large garden in the summer months. Families and dogs are very welcome. We take immense pride in serving the finest produce we can find which is freshly prepared by our chefs. Foster's 3.7 Heineken

Foster's is the ultimate ice-cold refreshment. Its balance of subtle fruitiness and vanilla is ideal for the sweeter-toothed lager lover. The perfect session beer to enjoy with mates.

Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.

Kronenbourg 1664 5.0 Heineken

Kronenbourg 1664's pleasure is in its light lemon and herbal flavours from the Alsace hops, and clean bittersweet finish.

Tasting Notes: This exceptional beer originated in Alsace in Eastern France and is brewed with the exclusive Strisselspalt hop, known as the caviar of hops, which gives it its unique aromatic and fruity flavour.

Wainwright 4.1 Wainwright

An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.

Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.
