The Catherine Wheel

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Goring on Thames.

The Catherine Wheel (TCW) is an 18th-century award-winning ale house located 2 minutes walk from the Thames Path in the picturesque village of Goring-on-Thames. Previous winners of the Turnaround Pub of the Year for London and the south east in 2014 and Best Thames Local Pub Restaurant 2015, TCW is again back to winning form, as Brakspear Business Builder Pub for 2018.

People have been drinking here for around 350 years and we keep that as a priority, but also know that fresh produce and good food should not be exclusive to gastro-pubs and our seasonal menu reflects this.

Whether you are a regular customer or visitor to our beautiful village, you can be assured of a warm welcome at TCW.

Our hours have changed slightly since the pandemic so keep an eye on our socials media pages for updates.
