Nobby would like to welcome you to the Chich, his traditional, thatched inn situated in the pretty village of Bishops Tawton, close to Barnstaple. Having previously owned the pub between 2001 and 2007 during which time he rebuilt it after a devastating fire in 2005 moving the pub forward to one of the leading traditional family pubs here in the West Country. Nobby is now back at the helm and is steering the ship on course with great food and excellent service.
We provide a relaxed home from home feel for locals and visitors alike. At heart we're a friendly local pub, boasting fantastic cask ales and the best in British pub food.
