A balanced amber bitter - named after the village in Carmarthenshire where we first brewed, this well-balanced cwrw (beer) manages to pack a punch whilst remaining thoroughly drinkable.
Tasting Notes: A traditional bitter with an accomplished balance and a spicy resinous hop aroma. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruit and toffee notes.
HPA is an easy-going real ale that brings people together. Our brewers have let locally grown Target and Celeia hops hang out with Maris Otter pale malt to give this understated brew its pale straw colour, citrus hop aroma and a balanced bitter finish.
Tasting Notes: HPA is a truly delightful pale ale. It’s smooth on the palate, and boasts a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish. Locally grown Target and Celeia hops play an important part in making this such a distinctive beer. With Maris Otter pale malt and malted wheat also being used, this is very much a pale ale with all the right ingredients.
A powerfully authenic IPA, Proper Job is brewed with a blend of imported American hops. It is a real treat of a beer with a growing reputation and loved by beer enthusiasts far and wide.
Tasting Notes: Perhaps the forerunner of all modern IPAs in the UK, Proper Job regularly wins awards, both from within the brewing industry and also at CAMRA Beer Festivals. The awards include the prestigious Champion Bottle Beer at CBoB and Champion Premium Best Bitter at the SIBA National Beer Festival. Proper Job is also supported with a unique online supporter's scheme called Proper Job Ambassadors. Sea Fury takes its inspiration from the stormy Atlantic seas that crash into the rugged Cornish coast during the long, dark winter.
Tasting Notes: Sea Fury is an exceptional example of the Special Bitter beer style, offering substance and depth of flavour without compromising balance and drinkability. An aroma of inviting roasted and dark berry notes gives way to sumptuous, fruity, malty flavour and a moreish hop finish.
