The Crown Tavern

A pub serving food with WiFi in London.

The Crown Tavern is perfectly placed on the corner of Clerkenwell Green in bustling Farringdon. Take a seat with us and you could be sitting in the spot where Lenin and Stalin held a meeting in 1905. Or you may recognise our distinctive golden "Apollo Lounge" upstairs, where scenes from the British film 'Notes on a Scandal', featuring Dame Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett, were filmed. The lounge - once a renowned concert hall - is spacious and bright, boasting original features and is available to hire for parties and events. This iconic London pub is the ideal spot to enjoy a pint of speciality beer and a plate of carefully sourced, home cooked pub food. Why not come down and pay us a visit!

Drink % Brewery
Bass 4.4 AB InBev UK

Brewed to 4.4% ABV, Bass is still brewed to an original recipe using only the finest ingredients and the experience of generations. Bass is brewed with two strains of yeast to produce a complex nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertone.

Tasting Notes: A medium-bodied complex nutty, biscuity malt taste with roasty, caramel aromas and classic earthy, subtly floral hop notes.

Camden Hells Lager 4.6 Camden Town Brewery

Hells is the lovechild of their two favourite German beer styles - Helles and Pilsner. Clean, crisp and dry.

Tasting Notes: A classic lager that’s exactly what it should be: easy-drinking, crisp and dry with beautiful bubbles. Clean and refreshing with a dry hop finish, you can taste the great depth of flavour which comes from the long, slow maturation in tank. This is how a great lager should taste.

Gamma Ray 5.4 Beavertown Brewery - DUPLICATE

The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit.

Tasting Notes: Massive additions of whole leaf American hops are added in ever increasing numbers at the end of the boil giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Lucky Saint Unfiltered Lager 0.5 Not Another Beer Co.

A refreshing, citrusy flavour profile with notes of fresh bread and a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel, making it a popular choice for those seeking a flavourful, non-alcoholic option.
