The Dog Inn is a historic much loved Inn, in the village of Whittington, Staffordshire.
Recently taken over and given a new lease of life, we look forward to seeing guests from old and some new faces too hopefully!

Our Menus is classic with a few twists – we like to think something for everyone!
Keep an eye out for something special on our Chefs specials board too!

An extensive drinks range is available, ranging from house to premium spirits, wines and prosecco, draught lagers, ciders and ever changing real ales. Coffees and plenty of soft drinks available for those guests that don’t want to drink.

We cater for any occasion event and party, and, with notice can tailor any event to suit your requirements. Please call direct to discuss further or book a table.

Brewed with Golden Promise malt, whole-leaf Goldings, Fuggles, and Savinjski Goldings hops, and pure Knowle Spring water, Landlord is crafted with an unwavering commitment to quality. Tasting Notes: A classic pale ale with an amber hue, it opens with a complex citrus and fruity aroma, delivering a full but smooth malt body with a touch of sweetness, followed by a lingering, gentle bitter hop finish that keeps it refreshing.

Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event. All told, there is plenty to look forward to for Tribute in the coming year.
