Situated in the beautiful village of Ashurst the Fountain is a shining example of the great traditional English pub complete with wonky floorboards, inglenook fireplaces and the heart warming smell of home cooking wafting in from the kitchen.
Pull up a chair by the fire, find a cosy spot for two or bring the family together around a big solid farmhouse table by the fire. Dogs (on leads please) are welcome in the bar areas.
We are proud to be associated with a number of very local food suppliers and as we move towards the spring and summer months our kitchen garden will contribute fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables.
Our kitchen team prepare all dishes on the menu from fresh ingredients, local wherever possible.
