Launched in April 2006 for the UK market. Brewed in Bremen, but packaged in the UK. "The Vier brand, whose German name translates as "four", is being positioned at the top end of the standard lager sector.

Tasting Notes: He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness, and added a touch of coriander to provide balance. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Tasting Notes: Carling has been skilfully brewed using lightly kilned British malts, aromatic hops and Carling's unique yeast to create a malty, sweet flavour, balanced with a hoppy ''clean flavoured'' bitterness and the aroma of freshly harvested grain.

Premium quality pale ale malt, with an extra proportion of crystal malt, and increased hops, gives this beer its renowned 'nutty' flavour and punch.

Tasting Notes: Mid amber colour with a rich butter-toffee aroma. Fruity and slightly nutty.
