Their first win away saw Tottenham claim a comfortable 3-0 victory thanks to a Micky van de Ven double and a late Pape Matar Sarr goal. A nervy 1-0 win at this ground in the reverse fixture on the final day of the season kept the North London side in the top flight at the expense of West Ham.

Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring in the 42nd minute before a second-half brace from Viktor Gyokeres sealed the three points for Mikel Arteta's side. Sunderland fared better in the meeting at this venue last season though, as Brian Brobbey scored a 94th-minute equaliser to earn the Black Cats a 2-2 draw.
