The Goats Head

A pub serving food in Abbots Bromley.

The Goats Head is a 16th century pub situated between Rugeley & Lichfield in the very pretty village of Abbots Bromley. Dick Turpin, the infamous highwayman, still has a room in the pub named after him. This is said to have been done after he stole "Black Bess" from Rugeley Horsefair and stayed overnight at this inn. Here at The Goats Head we are very proud to have received our Cask Marque Certificate for the perfect pint, we currently have six real ales to offer. We have lovely real open fires burning in the winter, in the summer why not dine al fresco in our newly refurbished garden.

Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm.

Tasting Notes: Unmistakeably GUINNESS®, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.
