The Griffin

A pub in Glasgow.

The Griffin offers good food and average service! Your local in the City Centre. Bloody tourists welcome!!
But seriously, The Griffin is a traditional Glasgow Public House – with a contempary feel. For looking like a traditional pub it’s quite trendy, and its relaxed appeal is popular with local celebrities as much as it is with youngsters.
It has old Scottish pub favourites, alongside some more international dishes. The desserts are baked in house and the recipe for the Sticky Toffee Pudding remains a closely guarded secret.

Skye Black 4.5 Isle of Skye Brewing Co.

The colour comes from dark roasted barley, balanced with just the right amount of sweet, rolled oatmeal. The true taste of malt shines through, balanced by the sweetness of pure Scottish heather honey.

Tasting Notes: Complex, full-bodied and malty. The bitterness of Roast Barley is smoothed by Heather Honey.

Skye Gold 4.3 Isle of Skye Brewing Co.

The taste of grain has always been a vital part of the Scottish brewing tradition. The result is an ale with the flavour of gentle hops, a creamy head and just the right amount of bitterness.

Tasting Notes: Balanced, softly fruity with a light bitterness and oaty background

Skye Red 4.2 Isle of Skye Brewing Co.

They use three different varieties of malt to create the deep colour and smooth nuttiness. Then they balance this rich brew with just the right amount of Challenger and Fuggle hops.

Tasting Notes: Malty and fruity; dry bittersweet aftertaste
