The Guildford Arms

A pub serving food in London.

The Guildford Arms is a handsome Georgian gastropub in Royal Greenwich, just a short walk from Greenwich DLR and the mainline rail station. We have two dining rooms where you can enjoy chef patron Guy Awford’s delicious modern British food. On the top floor we have a private room which is perfect for canapé parties, buffets or 3 course dining. Our sunken garden features both lawn and terraced areas. Silver birches, tall grasses and kitchen herbs combine to create an oasis of calm.

Bitburger-non alcoholic 0.0 Bitburger Braugruppe Gmbh
Guinness Original 4.2 Guinness

Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm.

Tasting Notes: Unmistakeably GUINNESS®, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.

Heineken 5.0 Heineken

Brewing beer is a 100% natural process. Heineken beer is made from the purest ingredients.

Tasting Notes: The resin from the female hop flower cones is used to help balance the sweetness of the barley with a refreshing bitterness.

London Lager 4.5 Meantime Brewing Co Ltd

A London brew with country roots, it’s a straightforward, clean, long-matured, unpasteurised lager that bursts with the classic flavours of East Anglian malt and Kentish hops.

Tasting Notes:

London Pale Ale 4.3 Meantime Brewing Co Ltd

150 years ago, London brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand for the popular Pale Ale beer style.

Tasting Notes: We happily continue this tradition and every year our Brewmaster travels to America’s Yakima Valley to hand-select some of the world’s finest hops, to make sure our London Pale Ale tastes just as it should do, year in, year out. We blend buckets full of American Cascade and Centennial hops with Kentish Goldings from just up the road to give our London Pale Ale the crisply refreshing, perfectly bitter finish that you’d expect from a quality pale ale. The American hops give aromas and flavours of citrus fruit, balanced by the ‘hopsack’ aromas from the Kentish hops.

Pale Ale 4.5 Hop Stuff Brewery

Our Pale Ale is a hoppy, flavourful & easy to drink session ale.

Tasting Notes:

Peroni, Nastro Azzurro 5.1 Miller Brands UK

Brewed from the finest spring planted barley malts, Peroni has a unique balanced taste with a delicate aroma arising from the hops of the most exclusive varieties.

Tasting Notes: Bright and light golden coloured with a pure white frothy head.

Phipps IPA 4.3 Phipps NBC

he classic blend of Goldings and Fuggles hops gives the characteristic English ale flavours to this full-bodied beer.

Tasting Notes: The balance of bitterness and sweetness, allied to a smooth hoppy after-taste, creates a most drinkable pint and our flagship brew.

Phipps NBC IPA 4.2 Grainstore Brewery

The classic blend of Goldings and Fuggles hops gives the characteristic English ale flavours to this full-bodied beer.

Tasting Notes: The balance of bitterness and sweetness, allied to a smooth hoppy after-taste, creates a most drinkable pint.

Renegade IPA 5.6 Hop Stuff Brewery

Their first ever beer in 2013. After years of drinking, fine-tuning and more drinking, this award winner is everything you look for out of a West Coast-style IPA.

Tasting Notes: The Renegade IPA has five grunty hops to flavour: Citra and Cascade for citrus, Ahtanum adds floral notes, Mosaic for tropical fruits and Columbus for touches of pine. All evened up with malty caramel sweetness.

Symonds Founders Reserve 4.5 Heineken

Symonds Founder's Reserve is a distinctive premium cider at 4.5% abv.

Tasting Notes: Blended from the finest Herefordshire apples including Dabinett & Michelin varietals; resulting in a characteristically fresh, crisp, fruity cider, with a high degree of complexity and depth of character coupled with Symonds rich heritage from a golden age of traditional Hereford cider making.
