Built around 1790's, the Haywain is situated in the heart of the picturesque East Kent countryside, on the A257 between Littlebourne & Wingham, with a conveniently located bus stop on the main Canterbury to Sandwich and Deal bus routes.
We are well known for our real ales and were recognised with the award of CAMRA Canterbury pub of the year 2010. We use local breweries and guest beers from around the country.
Our home cooked food has been recognised by awards from The Taste of Kent: - Winners in 2009 & Finalist in 2010. We offer traditional pub classics, including steaks, fresh fish as well as daily specials and snacks. Our meat and vegetables are locally sourced - including eggs from our own chickens.
