Wining and dining at the Horse and Farrier is a relaxing and enjoyable culinary experience with a choice of bar meals, snacks or something more substantial served from our brasserie menu.

All of our food is freshly sourced and prepared on the premises. For your function or meeting our chef can create bespoke menus or buffets on request.

Whatever your favourite tipple, we have it! From our luxurious coffee, hand pulled real ales, superb wines or refreshing fruit juices, you won't find a better overall drinks selection in town.
Our cask ales are mostly sourced from Yorkshire and neighbouring counties and we have an excellent choice of lagers, ciders and world beers on draught and in bottle including pilsners and weissbiers, Belgian ales and fruit beers, Czech lagers and American craft beers.

Boltmaker 4.0 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma – Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines.

Tasting Notes: Scent of citrus, fruit and spicy hoppy aroma. Tastes of roasted malt with a bitter finish.

Sir Titus 3.8 Saltaire Brewery Ltd

Generously hopped with Cascade for a lovely grapefruit citrus flavour with Centennial and Chinook adding citrus, floral and clean pine resin. Carapils malt adds mouthfeel and body for a tasty pale ale with a splendid bitter finish

Tasting Notes: Citrus, floral, pine, grapefruit
