The Kilcot Inn

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Newnet.

Welcome to The Kilcot Inn, a country pub with accommodation on the border of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Here at our newly restored Inn, our emphasis is on tradition.
We are a destination pub and we value really good food, really good drinks, leading to a really enjoyable time. Join us at lunchtime or in the evenings for a wide selection of locally sourced, seasonal food with our own 'twist'. Real ales and ciders are balanced with a well thought out wine list focusing on quality and value.

Local Ciders, Real Ales and Fine Wines in a relaxed and friendly country pub.

Head for our bar, which retains its pubby personality – namely, space for just having a drink – where you can choose from a great selection of changing draught traditional ales. We also offer 12 Herefordshire ciders, and a varied classic wine list featuring an interesting range of wines from the new, old and emerging wine regions including our local, award winning Three Choirs Vineyard at Newent. 'Softies' can sample the delicious range of Crusher’s Pride organic local fruit juices. Handpicked, tree ripened apples, bottled at Hilter Fruit Farm, Oxenhall.

Open all day every day starting with Breakfast. Serving Lunches through to Evening Meals, the Kilcot is a special place to sample good local produce. Our resident chef says the Kilcot’s style is ‘modern English food with our own unique twist’ and the menu caters for lunchtime snackers as well as diners looking for something a little more substantial. The kitchen sources quality, local and seasonal produce from within a 30 mile radius of the inn. Our dinner menu is now available at lunch time too. The daily lunch menu changes with the seasons and the dinner menus change every 6-8 weeks

Butty Bach 4.5 Wye Valley Brewery Ltd

‘Butty Bach’ is Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’. This full-bodied, smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time

Tasting Notes: We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts, flaked barley, malted wheat, and locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite among our followers.
