The Lamb Inn

A pub serving food in Swanley.

The Lamb Inn has been a pub for only a little over 30 years, but has been a favourite drinking place for more than a century. Originally two cottages, one was turned into an ale house in 1866 by owner James Chilmaid and went on to become the longest-standing ale house in Kent. It continued to sell beer right up until 1979 – in the hands of the same family - when it was taken over by Shepherd Neame. The cottages were converted into one spacious pub and now it not only offers a great selection of cask ales but also wine, traditional pub food and a warm and friendly welcome.

Situated in Swanley Village just outside Swanley town, this country pub boasts an attractive summer garden and won an award for its hanging baskets in the Swanley in Bloom 2010 contest. Much of the food it sells is grown locally.
