The Marston Inn

A pub serving food in Banbury.

The Marston Inn, in Marston St Lawrence is a good sized pub. The main trading area consists of a good sized bar with a separate restaurant. It is a real country pub and exudes charm with its open fireplaces and original beams. The Inn dates back to the 15th century and was once three farm cottages. In the Civil War, it was seized by Oliver Cromwell just before the Battle of Edge Hill and used to raise funds for his army. The picturesque and rustic layout provides seating for around 30 people. The garden is perfectly suited to alfresco dining and provides a cool and relaxing area in which to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This pub would suit both a first time publican and an experienced publican.
