Tucked away in a quiet corner of Wolverhampton is the Newhampton Inn, an old-school pub with a fresh approach. Hobgoblin Gold is the latest beer carrying the little fella’s moniker, and while Gold might be lighter in colour, it’s definitely no lightweight

Tasting Notes: A combination of six hop varieties (yes six!) & an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in the perfect golden beer – with a huge hop punch.
Proper Job 4.5 St Austell Brewery

A powerfully authenic IPA, Proper Job is brewed with a blend of imported American hops. It is a real treat of a beer with a growing reputation and loved by beer enthusiasts far and wide.

Tasting Notes: Perhaps the forerunner of all modern IPAs in the UK, Proper Job regularly wins awards, both from within the brewing industry and also at CAMRA Beer Festivals. The awards include the prestigious Champion Bottle Beer at CBoB and Champion Premium Best Bitter at the SIBA National Beer Festival.
