Our take on the traditional English brown ale, coupled with floral American hops.

The beer that changed everything. The first brew they perfected, the beer that made their name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour.

Two of the North’s most celebrated breweries, Timothy Taylor's and Northern Monk, have collaborated for the first time to launch a 4.4% stout, Northern Rising. The culmination of more than a year’s worth of work between the two award-winning breweries, Northern Rising will be released in cask and keg within Northern Monk’s and Timothy Taylor’s own venues, and in pubs across the UK, plus 440ml nitro stout cans in supermarkets and online.

A full bodied beer with redcurrant and blackcurrant flavours, along with a malted toffee taste. A crisp bitter finish.

Sea Fury takes its inspiration from the stormy Atlantic seas that crash into the rugged Cornish coast during the long, dark winter.
Tasting Notes: Sea Fury is an exceptional example of the Special Bitter beer style, offering substance and depth of flavour without compromising balance and drinkability. An aroma of inviting roasted and dark berry notes gives way to sumptuous, fruity, malty flavour and a moreish hop finish.
Atlantic is a modern pale ale brewed to feature the best attributes of our ingredients. Succulence from two types of malt, tropical and citrus fruits from new world hops.
Tasting Notes: Atlantic is a deep golden colour. The aroma of Pale Ale is a blend of stunning citrus notes, juicy tropical fruits and fresh-picked hops with a touch of candy floss.
Theakston Best Bitter is the leading session ale within the Theakston portfolio. When we refer to a ‘bitter’ beer, the term does not mean sour as in lemons, but dry as in ‘dry white wine’. So Best Bitter is a full bodied, dry beer. We use five different hop varieties to make our Best Bitter forming a complex but subtle taste profile. The combination of dryness as generated by Target and Challenger hops, is balanced by sweetness created by the generous use of prime malting barley providing the perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of food flavours as found in a Ploughman’s lunch for instance.
Tasting Notes: This fine, golden amber beer has a full flavour that lingers pleasantly on the palate. With good bittersweet balance, this beer has a subtle hop character described as sweet and fruity. It's a very refreshing and satisfying pint!

Its rich red hue pays tribute to the iconic Welsh jersey, while a full-bodied malt backbone delivers warming depth. Balanced hop character brings gentle aroma and a fruit-forward, moreish finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. A pint for every rugby occasion. Feed your pride, from pub to pitch.
