The Queens Arms

A pub serving food in Pimlico.

The Queens Arms has been a local pub since it was built in 1846, though back then it was most probably regarded as a tavern and there were probably sheep grazing in the road. It was re-named the Royal Gardener in the 70’s, briefly decided it was a Slug & Lettuce for a while, and then toyed with being the Page in 2006. Finally in 2010, somewhat addled by its multiple personalities, it had the maturity to return to its roots and once again become The Queens Arms, a truly local pub.

With its friendly, welcoming and bustling atmosphere, the Queens Arms has a large open bar area with scrubbed wooden tables, fine ales from small breweries as well as an extensive wine list. Here and upstairs in the dining room, you can eat both hearty pub dishes and more sophisticated cuisine with longer descriptions.

Lazarus 4.2 Trumans

Very Pale Ale.

Tasting Notes: Brewed with lashing of US Hops, it is juicy and zesty, but never overpowering. Pouring a pale gold, it provides the perfect balance between flavour and refreshment.
