Boltmaker is a dependable, characterful Yorkshire bitter with an inviting copper-amber colour and gentle citrus and fruit aromas.
Tasting Notes: The flavour is smooth and rounded, led by biscuit-like malt notes and a clean, balanced bitterness.
Knowle Spring is our refreshing blonde beer, built around the purity of the very spring on which the brewery stands. Brewed with Golden Promise barley malt, Strisselspalt hops from Alsace, and UK-grown Cascade and Chinook hops.
Tasting Notes: It’s an easy-drinking beer with floral and citrus aromas, hints of orange zest on the tongue followed by aromatic hop flavours to finish.
Landlord is Timothy Taylor’s iconic flagship beer – a revered, nationally recognised classic. Four-time CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain and the UK’s top-selling cask beer. Brewed with Golden Promise malt, whole-leaf Goldings, Fuggles, and Savinjski Goldings hops, and pure Knowle Spring water, Landlord is crafted with an unwavering commitment to quality.
Tasting Notes: A classic pale ale with an amber hue, it opens with a complex citrus and fruity aroma, delivering a full but smooth malt body with a touch of sweetness, followed by a lingering, gentle bitter hop finish that keeps it refreshing.
"The Legend" - One of the world’s great beers – smooth, strong and mellow.
Tasting Notes: The beer that made Masham famous – rich, dark and smooth tasting, with a character all of its own. Brewed using the traditional Fuggle hop, Old Peculier is our best known beer and has a large and enthusiastic following all over Britain and around the world.
Boasting a 'Peculier' blend of three UK grown hops, Harlequin, Jester and Olicana mixed with the magic of the Theakston brewing team to deliver a fruit-packed flavour with a dry bitter understone.
Tasting Notes:
An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.
Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.
