The Red Lion

A child friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Iver.

A traditional country pub with a fascinating history spanning 400 years, the Red Lion was once a Parish owned ‘church house’ selling ale to the faithful community. With much of the pub’s unique character carefully maintained, this charming old alehouse now serves freshly prepared food from a wide-ranging pub menu.
Inside you’ll find original wooden beams that are over 400 years old, real open fires and flagstone floors. This traditional country pub is a fine place to enjoy a hearty meal. On Sundays choose from a selection of roast meats or a tasty vegetarian option. Traditional Sunday lunches are served with a great big Yorkshire pudding and unlimited gravy.

Drink % Brewery
Amstel Lager 4.1 Amstel

Beautiful golden color with a mildly bitter taste and cheerful character.

Tasting Notes:

Birra Moretti 4.6 Heineken

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note.

Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

Greene King IPA 3.6 Greene King PLC

An easy drinking, refreshing IPA with a hoppy taste, and aroma to give a clean dry finish

Tasting Notes: Tawny Amber in colour with a hoppy taste and aroma.

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced
