The Royal George

A pub serving food in Walton-on-Thames.

The Royal George is named after the ship of 100 guns built in 1756, that fought in the battles of St Vincent in 1780, the Glorious First of June, 1794, Isle de Grois, 1795, and the Dardanelles of 1807. The present building was completely rebuilt in 1964, but the original Royal George was built around 1867.
The pub has been recently refurbished and has a lovely garden with heated and covered areas for those cooler days and also benefits from two car parks.
Thai food is served Monday to Saturday, and traditional Roasts are served on Sundays from midday until 3pm. The Royal George also hosts a regular Tuesday quiz night.

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

Landlord is Timothy Taylor’s iconic flagship beer – a revered, nationally recognised classic. Four-time CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain and the UK’s top-selling cask beer. Brewed with Golden Promise malt, whole-leaf Goldings, Fuggles, and Savinjski Goldings hops, and pure Knowle Spring water, Landlord is crafted with an unwavering commitment to quality.

Tasting Notes: A classic pale ale with an amber hue, it opens with a complex citrus and fruity aroma, delivering a full but smooth malt body with a touch of sweetness, followed by a lingering, gentle bitter hop finish that keeps it refreshing.

The authentic taste of London. First brewed in Wandsworth in 1864, Young's London Original is our original pale ale. Refreshing with a fruity aroma and long satisfying bitter finish. Take a London classic head on.
