The Shakespeare Inn is a recently refurbished traditional English pub, located in the heart of Kendal town centre – the gateway to the remarkable and breath-taking Lake District National Park. We offer an excellent range of traditional cask ales, beers, lagers, wines and spirits along with an expansive Gin menu. We also offer quality homemade, locally supplied food every lunchtime and evening along with excellent en-suite B&B accommodation in our converted cottages at the rear of the building in a courtyard location, which were fully refurbished in January 2020.

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note. Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends
	Daytime	4.0	Lagunitas Brewing Company
Lagunitas Daytime IPA is a lower carb and lower calorie craft beer. It is made by California based Lagunitas Brewing Company, founded in 1993, which is now a subsidiary of Heineken International. It's intended to be a truly sessionable IPA at only 4% ABV, but it's not your typical light beer. Tasting Notes:
	Foster's	3.4	Heineken
Foster's is the ultimate ice-cold refreshment. Its balance of subtle fruitiness and vanilla is ideal for the sweeter-toothed lager lover. The perfect session beer to enjoy with mates. Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.
	Guinness Extra Cold	4.2	Guinness
Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness. Tasting Notes:
	Heineken	5.0	Heineken
Brewing beer is a 100% natural process. Heineken beer is made from the purest ingredients. Tasting Notes: The resin from the female hop flower cones is used to help balance the sweetness of the barley with a refreshing bitterness.
	Laguanitas IPA	6.2	Lagunitas Brewing Company
A well-rounded, highly drinkable IPA. Tasting Notes: A bit of Caramel Malt barley provides the richness that mellows out the twang of the hops.
