The Squire and Horse was built in the 16th century when it was originally known as The White Horse, It has been a family run freehouse by Nicholas and Wendy for over 15 years. Nicholas as the head chef originates from Australia, where he worked in many top restaurants such as Chez Oz in Sydney and Fanny’s in Melbourne where he won countless awards for his innovative and interesting food. The restaurant serves gastro style food, were we try to source as many local products and produce wherever possible.
