The Star

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with Sky TV and WiFi and a garden in Wroxall.

Welcome to The Star Inn at Wroxall

We opened The Star Inn in December 2017 after it had been closed for several months.
We only had a little experience in managing pubs and bars but never running one, so it was a real challenge.
We made some mistakes but we also overcome some obstacles too!
In August of 2018 we purchased the freehold to the pub. Since then we have been learning from the mistakes we made while we were a tenanted pub and making improvements.
We have recently taken on an award winning chef and we looking forward to the future, where we will start to improve the look of the pub and drive it into the 21st century.
We have a great team who have the same passion for our pub as we do. Our bartenders have been trained to pour you the perfect pint with exceptional service and attention to detail this is including our extensive range of spirits, great real ales and exceptional wines from all over the world. We have also taken our eye for attention to detail to our kitchen where our award winning head chef has created an exceptional menu with exceptional local ingredients and will be served with an eye on detail our food deserves, so that all the dishes we serve look as good as they taste. We will also update our menu every three month’s so we can make the most of our island’s seasonal produce.
We know this pub has had a turbulent past with some great high’s but also some low’s. We hope that you will give this great pub in the beautiful village of Wroxall on the Isle of Wight a chance to thrive and become the great pub it once was.
Thank you
Terry, Toni
And to our staff we thank you all for making The Star Inn what it has become today.
