The Thatchers Arms is a rural country pub with stunning views over the Stour Valley on the Essex Suffolk borders. We serve delicious fresh local food and fine award winning local ales all with a warm locals welcome. We have two bars, a function room including a cinema, a large beer garden & car park. We can cater for private parties from sit down meals for up to 70 or more informal buffets and BBQs from 50 to 150 guests. Our cinema shows some of the latest films on Thursday nights and we also have a bar billiards table, quoits beds, a golf society, mini library & a piano.

	Adnams Southwold Bitter	3.4	Adnams
Southwold Bitter is a beautiful copper-coloured beer, late and dry-hopped with Fuggles for a distinctive, lingering hoppiness. Brewed with the finest East Anglian Pale Ale malt barley, sourced locally to the brewery. We use Fuggles hops which we add late in the boil to preserve the herbal flavours of this traditional English hop. We add more Fuggles to each cask so that the flavour of the hops infuses into the beer. It’s a perfect 3.7% abv in cask and 4.1% abv in bottle and can.
