The nineteenth century Wheatsheaf Inn is situated on the B2184 on the edge of the historic village of Cuckfield. The mainline station of Haywards Heath is a short distance away and offers an excellent service to London in under an hour.
Gatwick Airport and the South Coast resort of Brighton are within easy access, together with the City of Chichester and many famous local attractions including Hickstead Showjumping, Wakehurst Place, Glyndebourne Opera House, Ardingly Showground and both Goodwood Racing Venues. We are central for both coastal and countryside excursions.

A gloriously zesty blonde, brewed using a combination of classic English hops from Hereford giving a subtle but complex bitterness and North American Yakima Valley hops releasing citrus, grapefruit zestyness.

Tasting Notes: Sunbeam has a vibrant hop aroma and a shimmering blonde colour. The rich gooseberry and zesty grapefruit taste create and easy drinking beer with a clean long after taste.g

Wells Bombardier is an iconic real beer loaded with distinct English brilliance. The rich, full-bodied nectar is a lingering reward for the ol' tonsils.

Tasting Notes: 

Brakspear Gravity 3.4 Brakspear

Brewed in Oxfordshire, using the famous Henley ‘ double-drop ’ fermentation system in Victorian copper fermentation vessels from the orignal Henley brewery.

Tasting Notes: This amber ale has a crystal malt and a well hopped bitterness in taste, which transforms into a bitter-sweet and fruity finish with a good fruit, hop and malt nose.

Courage Directors Bitter 4.8 The Eagle Brewery

This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public.

Tasting Notes: It is genuine premium beer, pale brown in appearance with a deep rich taste.
