The Wheatsheaf, Tooting

A pub serving food with Sky TV in London.

We take our role in the community seriously. The Times voted Tooting as the best place to live for single people in the whole UK after all, so we are committed to providing the best in our area (whether you’re single or not). We always have seven ales on, and strive for two of these to be local. Not to be outdone by drink, the food menu is creative and, most importantly, delicious. If you’re in the market for fun, you’ve come to the right place. We have late nights on Friday and Saturday until 2am, live blues music once a month (with every other Sunday featuring live blues jam with Geraint Watkins) and a quiz night every Sunday evening. We’re proud of our comedy club as well. The first Thursday of the month sees us go all funny inside and we’ve had the likes of Micky Flanagan, Stewart Lee, Milton Jones and Stephen K Amos perform for our guests. With a pretty outside space and function room available for parties, it’s fair to say we’ve got something for everyone.

Drink % Brewery
Mick the Miller 4.0 By The Horns Brewing Co.

Light caramel malt back up with a racing hoppy finish. Always a winner!

Tasting Notes:

Swift 3.9 Trumans

Golden Ale

Tasting Notes: Lip-smackingly drinkable, Swift is brewed with noble Saaz and American Cascade hops for the perfect blend of flavour and refreshment. This award winning ale is juicy, gently hoppy with light lemon and floral flavour. A firm favourite of the brewery team after a hard day’s work.

Tribute 4.2 St Austell Brewery

Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale.

Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event. All told, there is plenty to look forward to for Tribute in the coming year.
