The Georgian Style Building dates back to 1858, it was granted the licence to become a Beer House in accordance with the Duke of Wellingtons Beer House Act of 1830, this allowed a private house to sell beer from 4.00am until 10.00pm every day except Divine Service and Christmas Day!
