Named after the 1823 brewing rooms at Brougham Hall which once housed the brewery, this very popular beer is darker than the average bitter with plenty of character, but not heavy.
Tasting Notes: Dark, full bodied, light
This is a dark, malty and traditional ale. This beer has more Challenger and Fuggles hops infused into it to give it body and flavour, and less Goldings for aroma at the end. A great winter drink.
Tasting Notes: Malty, dark, hoppy
A golden amber ale with a bit more bite than some paler ales, giving more of a hops aroma than most beers.
Tasting Notes:
Eden Valley is a pale summer ale, very light and refreshing and finished with a twist of Czech Saaz hops.
Tasting Notes: Light, refreshing, hoppy
A paler session bitter which is as lush and smooth as it is satisfying.
Tasting Notes: Smooth, refreshing, light
A classic session ale, refreshing and easy drinking.
Tasting Notes: Refreshing, light
This is a light session beer with plenty of Goldings aroma hops. A classic blonde ale.
Tasting Notes: Light, hoppy
A classic session bitter but not too strongly flavoured for easy drinking. Golden nut brown like traditional best bitters.
Tasting Notes: Easy drinking, light
Brewed with Pennine water, lager malt and British top cropping yeast – then flavoured with the best Czech Saaz hops and cold conditioned for that refreshingly crisp pilsner taste.
Tasting Notes: Hoppy, crisp
Lovingly crafted for a stronger premium taste, this work of art is also brewed with Pennine water, lager malt and British top cropping yeast – then flavoured with the best Czech Saaz hops and cold conditioned for premium refreshment.
Tasting Notes: Hoppy, refreshing
This is a stronger beer with Munich and crystal malts giving it a ruby red glow. Again, it is brewed to not be too heavy and has plenty of Goldings aroma.
Tasting Notes: Hoppy
Ullswater Blonde is a pale best bitter that’s light and fresh and makes for very easy drinking.
A strong Pale Ale.
Tasting Notes: Crisp, hoppy, bitter
