Toby Carvery Metrocentre

A pub serving food in Gateshead.

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Gateshead's favourite carvery restaurant.

Drink % Brewery
Carling 4.1 Carling - Use Coors

Carling has been Britain’s best selling lager for more than three decades. It is brewed to have the perfect balance of sweetness & bitterness ensuring it is as brilliantly refreshing from the first sip to the last.

Tasting Notes: Carling has been skilfully brewed using lightly kilned British malts, aromatic hops and Carling's unique yeast to create a malty, sweet flavour, balanced with a hoppy ''clean flavoured'' bitterness and the aroma of freshly harvested grain.

Carlsberg Danish Pilsner 3.4 Carlsberg Marstons Brewing Company

Completely rebrewed from head to hop, our new Carlsberg Danish Pilsner has a light and refreshing qualities with a smooth, full mouthfeel and a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. Distinctive citrus hop aromas deliver a greater depth of flavour and a hoppy, moreish aftertaste to the final sip. Skål!

Tasting Notes:

Guinness Extra Cold 4.2 Guinness

Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness.

Tasting Notes:

John Smiths Extra Smooth 3.6 John Smith's Brewery

John Smith’s Extra Smooth was launched in 1993 and is now the nation's number 1 ale.

Tasting Notes: The boffins say it has a distinct cereal character, with malty, caramel notes being complemented by some fruitiness. But we just think it’s a right good pint.
