Ale Next The Sea 4.5

Pours clear amber-brown with negligible head. Nose and taste is sweet caramel malts with flowery hops providing a mild-to-moderate bitterness. Light soft easy drinking palate. Another fine English session ale.

Tasting Notes: 

Best Bittern 4.0

Slightly hazy amber/brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, herbs, little caramel and a little wood. Flavour is malt, hop, fruit, little caramel, herbs, toasted and a little oxidized.

Black Beauty 4.5

Dark brown colour, some off-white bubbles. Aroma is light roasted malts and sweet vanilla. Flavour is light roasted malts, bit of chocolate, vanilla, little fruitiness.

Black Shuck 4.5

The Black Shuck has roamed East Anglia since Viking times, regular sightings of this red eyed dog help keep the legend alive.Brewed using Branthills legendary malt. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Wagtail brewery uses barley from the Branthill Farm, Well-next-the-Sea in north Norfolk, where the climate and soil are perfect for growing the best malting barley.

Hornblower 4.5

Hazy amber golden with a dense off-white head. Fruity and caramellish nose with a hint of elderflower. Medium body, a little burned caramel and a dry fruitiness.

King Tut 4.0

Pours a clear dark golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty bitter flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Norfolk Cock 5.2

Norfolk Cock is a rich tasty ale, made using the unique ’maritime malt’ from Branthill Farm, Wells-next-the-sea in North Norfolk.

Tasting Notes: To compliment the juicy malt we have added whole English hops including Goldings, Northdown and Bramlings Cross. The resulting ale has a deep amber colour and a complex flavour, and is, they believe, an ale to crow about.

Ruby Ale 4.5

Pours rich ruby with a wonderful clean off white head looks absolutely perfect. Aroma is a soft maltyness with a little toffee also a little citrus. Taste is streaky citric bitterness, toffee, nicely malty.
