A short, pleasant walk from the Estate to Chapel Stile brings you to Wainwrights' Inn, a traditional Lakeland Pub with stone flagged floor, open fire and real ale. Originally part of a 200 year old Cumbrian farmhouse, it has been carefully restored and decorated with many local antiques and curiosities. Well-known for its hospitality and good food, Wainwrights' is regularly featured in the Good Beer Guide.
