Our Session IPA brewed with Oats and Wheat to give plenty of body, we use Mosaic and Centennial Hops to give this beer a very Citrusy Hoppy Flavour and Aroma

Black Pig 4.8

Adapted from an imperial Russian porter recipe, this beer is incredibly smooth with burnt chocolate and smoky malt notes mixed with delicate hop bitterness and floral notes.

Black Prince 3.9

The eldest son of Edward III who was married to Joan of Kent and buried in Canterbury Cathedral. A rich, full bodied Kent mild, smooth on the pallet with subtle hop notes.

Belgian Trappist style Ale.

A dark chestnut coloured bitter, with soft toasted malt flavours enhanced by the addition of figs and black sultanas blended with spicy and caramel nosed hops.

Winter Ale

Fortitude 4.2

Wantsum’s Flagship bitter first brewed in 2009. This Best Bitter combines four types of malts to give depth of body, with English and American hops for a pronounced hop finish.

Tasting Notes: 

Golgotha 5.5

A rich, deep and broad malt base gives this stout a very long smooth finish. Hops are prominent on the nose with blackcurrant, liquorice and cedar.

Tasting Notes: Smooth, hoppy, blackcurrant, liqurice

Green Hop 4.5

Various hops, Autumn Ale. A green hop beer brewed using hops from Kent. This is brewed within 12 hours of the hops being picked and varies in taste depending on the hops used.

Grim Reaper 5.5

Red Rye IPA

Tasting Notes: 

Hengist 5.0

Named after the Anglo Saxon invader who formed the Kingdom of Kent; this golden pale ale has flavours of biscuit malt balancing a long fruit hop.

Tasting Notes: Biscuit, fruity

Imperium 4.0

A deep amber Best Bitter with smooth biscuit malts and a hoppy nose. Brewed exclusively with locally grown Bullion hops.

Montgomery 4.0

Amber best bitter exploding with citrus aromas and using exclusively American hops. Named after the SS Richard Montgomery which sank off Sheerness during WW2 whilst full of explosives and the Coastguard monitor the wreck even now.

More's Head 3.7

A light hoppy session bitter named after Sir Thomas More whose decapitated head is believed to have been stolen by his sister, and hidden in the Roper family vault in St Dunstan’s Church. A chestnut coloured bitter providing malt and roasted grains, balanced by fruit and floral hop bitterness with a hint of citrus.

One Hop 4.5

Available in different hop varieties throughout the year. A single hopped beer brewed to exemplify the unique properties of this hop variety.

Tasting Notes: This beer is ochre in colour and has a smooth rich malt base.

Portly Pig 5.5

A Russian Porter with a port infusion.

Tasting Notes: 

Preussen Pilsner 4.5

A light, hoppy and smooth Pilsner.

Ravening Wolf 5.9

A strong New Zealand Pale Ale.

Tasting Notes: Toasted biscuit and rye malt flavours support a pine lemon hop crispness with a hint of vanilla.

Red Raddle 5.0

Brewed to celebrate the 200th year of Crabble Corn Mill, this beer is named after the red paint used on the mill stones.

Tasting Notes: A 5 Hop, ruby red premium bitter with biscuit and toasted malt base supporting a broad hoppy smooth finish.

St George's Ale 5.0

Strong hoppy Golden Ale.

Tasting Notes: 

Thunderbolt 6.8

A strong American IPA golden in hue with big intense hop flavours and aromas, named after the Thunderbolts which flew for the USAF from RAF Headcorn during WW2.

Tasting Notes: Hoppy

Turbulent Priest 4.4

This is a full bodied bitter offering chocolate and coffee notes on top of a sweet malt base. New world hops give this beer bitterness tempered with deep fruity hop aromas.

Yellow Tail 4.5

A 5 hop spring ale, using New Zealand hops to create a sweet floral taste.

Tasting Notes: This fruity ale is pale in colour, with mild malt flavours and a hint of vanilla.
