Our Commemorative Ale to celebrate Chelmsford being granted ''City'' status! A traditional brown ale with English hops throughout. A tasty malt body with 3 varieties of English hop on the finish.

Copperhouse 4.2

A rich copper coloured ale featuring finest New Zealand Motueka hops giving distinct citrus/tropical fruit aromas.

Tasting Notes: 

Crafty Croc 4.5

It''s deep chestnut colored, made with East Anglian Pale, Amber, Crystal and Roast Barley with American Magnum and Galena hops for bittering. There''s a hefty amount of Anerican Chinook, Cluster and Citra hops for flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes: 

Crafty Mole 5.5

A dark almost black beer that''s full in flavour yet easy to drink with an interesting blend of Magnum, Galena for bittering with Cascade and Cluster hops to give a floral finish.

Tasting Notes: 

Crafty Mouse 4.0

A pale gold easy drinking and very refreshing Ale. Made with East Anglian Malted Barley and Wakatu Hops from New Zealand to give a zesty lime finish.

Crafty Stoat 5.3

Initially made with the assistance of members of the Craft Brewing Association and the UK-Homebrew Digest at the 2008 ''Flocculation'' With six different types of malt and a huge amount of English Fuggles hops this is a dark and complex beer.

Tasting Notes: 

Darker Mild 4.3

A blend of dark ''Carafa'' malts which are de-husked to give a smoother flavour with a bit of sweetness to balance. Lightly hopped means it''s ideal for those who don''t like bitter beers

Dengie Best 4.1

Brewed with the finest floor malted East Anglian Maris Otter malt with a touch of crystal and wheat malt for a smooth, straw coloured ale. We''ve used only English Fuggles and Goldings hop to make an easy drinking bitter.

Dengie Dark 3.8

A smooth light malty bodied beer with low bitterness., An ale which allows the dark malt character to shine through.

Dengie Devil 4.0

A deep red traditional ale with New Zealand hops and a blend of English Malts to make a refreshingly naughty beer.

Dengie IPA 3.6

A popular bitter to tempt those who like a traditional malty brew with plenty of flavour, not too much hop and at a strength where you can make a night of it.

Dengie Porter 4.0

As the name says it''s Gold in colour and from the Dengie. Made from East Anglian malt and American hops. Definately one to enjoy on a summers day.

It's a premium lager at 5%, made with East Anglian Malt and Czech hops.

Galaxy 4.2

Made with only East Anglian Lager Malt this is an light gold beer in colour. With 100% Tasmanian Galaxy Hops it''s intensly floral with a balanced bitterness to match it''s 4.2% strength.

Genesis 4.2

Pale red, brewed with Columbus hops for a slight citrus and pine notes.

Hop Black 4.0

Black in colour but with the smooth taste of a golden beer, no harshness just copius amounts of American Cascade hops with an amazing floral aroma.

Hop Harvest 4.1

Made with 100% Maris Otter pale malt this is a lighter beer, golden in colour with a fresh hop flavour.

Light in colour with a real hop kick. Refreshing and very more-ish.

Hop-timistic 4.1

Traditional brown in colour with a hint of a deep red it''s incredibly tasty and refreshing with a hint of blackcurrant on the finish thanks to a blend of Goldings and Galena hops.

Our spring special ''Mayflower'' is a refreshing golden ale with an aroma akin to freshly cut hedgerows.

New Dawn 3.9

A good traditional bitter that will appeal to those who like a nice lightly hopped real ale with a bit of malt and a nice finish. A cracking beer that''ll suit almost all bitter drinkers out there.

Oatmeal Stout 4.0

A dark full bodied stout made with East Anglian malted barley and oats to give a smooth, silky mouthfeel and a creaminess in flavour that must be tasted to be understood. Balanced with the finest English hops it’s an easy drinking stout.

Polar Beer 4.2

A fantastic straw gold, slightly malty but with fresh bitterness and aroma from the copius amounts of Junga hops used to make it.

Santas Night Off 4.2

A traditional brew for those long winter. Balanced with traditional English hops this is a brew to remind us that everyone, even Santa, needs some time off at Christmas.

Spiced Mild 4.0

Brewed for CAMRA's May is Mild Month campaign this is a 4% dark mild gently spiced with Ginger, Cinnamon and Orange.

Spiced Porter 4.5

Brown porter made with English malt and Noble hops with the addition of ginger, cinnamon and orange to give a subtle spicy flavour and aroma.

Vanguard 4.2

Our November special, Vanguard. A light brown ale with finest English Challenger hops for bittering and flavour with American Vanguard for a mild slightly floral aroma.

Winter Wibble 6.0

Something special for those cold winter nights. A cracking old ale with an almost whisky like malt flavour. Plenty of English hops balance the strength making it very suppable.

Wobbly Croc 12

This deep chestnut Barley Wine is made from the first running of the Craft Croc, English Malt with US Galena, Magnum, Citra, Cascade and Chinook hops make this a beer to be sipped and enjoyed.
