#3000 Gyles From Home 4.5

A Cream Porter... It's taken them 16 years to get here but here we are... welcome to their 3000th brew!

Tasting Notes: Brewed with lactose, pinhead oats and dark chocolate malt. Layers of subtle vanilla and milky coffee with a sweet dessert intensity.

002 Mandarina Bavaria 4.0

Expect mandarin orange sweetness and resinous peel with a fresh herbal follow up. All backed up with rich malt biscuity grain bill.

Tasting Notes: 

004 Palisade 4.6

Single Hop Series... Palisade (or Yakima Chief H-4 as it is known) is grown in the North West of the U.S. and literally means 'a strong wooden fence'.

Tasting Notes: Munich and Vienna Malt lay out the foundations of this co-humulone barricade of sweet nectar and floral perfume punch.

005 Dr. Rudi 3.8

Single Hop Series NZ Pale... The Doctor will see you now!

Tasting Notes: Super sessionable pale in the Rudi style with over the counter prescription doses of stone fruit, peach and apricot.

Angel 4.3

This pale copper ale is a well balanced bitter with a citrus character in the aroma and finish given by the Cascade hop.

Tasting Notes: Citrus fruit, Lychee, floral, spice.

Bitter 3.8

A refreshing, lighter beer with a distinctive character. Dark gold in colour.

Tasting Notes: 

Bohemia 4.6

Pale and Carapils malts, Tettnanger Saz and Hallertaul Hersbrucker hops, and using a Czech strain of Pilsener yeast. Deep gold with a rich hop character.

Tasting Notes: Subtle, grassy, dry malt finish.

Brodirblod 6.0

A Red Rye & Juniper Infused Nordic Ale brewed in conjunction with Northern Monk.

Tasting Notes: Blended rye and crystal malts battle axe through dank pine forest pungent gusts of juniper berry infusion with a final plundering dry wine finish courtesy of Sigmund's Voss Kveik old strain Nordic yeast culture.

Single Malt, Triple Hopped Pale Ale brewed with masses of new season USA Cascade! Huge notes of pink grapefruit & sherbet lemon.

Centennial 4.1

Well balanced golden ale with a massive citrus aroma and an American bitterness from Centennial hops.

Club of Slaughters 8.8

Vegan Friendly Slaughterhouse Stout.

Tasting Notes: Vanatblack and bone char intones dwell within this remnant hulk… an electro narcosis of peat smoke pitch, dark cocoa and oiled black cardamon, rib rattle into subtle bolt gusts of port wine and espresso pursued by a dark cherry red grape skin tartness.

Collingwood Ale 4.1

The ale is honey-soaked in colour with a sweet tangerine aroma from the finishing hop, light and soft bodied with a citrus zest / fresh pinewood flavour and an appetisingly dry and bitter finish.

Tasting Notes: Fresh Pinewood flavour, Clean, persistent, citrus zest

Galatia 3.9

Extra light session pale with a heavy absorbed dose of New World Hops.

Tasting Notes: Fresh orange shred, stone fruit blasts and a clean dry fresh pine kick to the finish.

Gold Tankard 4.0

Made with all gold ingredients - Golden Promise Pale Malt, Golden naked oats, First Gold Hops, with a Willamette hop finish.

Tasting Notes: Fresh, clean flavour with a hint of grapefruit citrus from the Willamette.

Haxan 6.2

A Black Wit Beer… Deep , tawny, solid dark tones reveal a well balanced combination of wheaty tartness and luscious dark malts.

Tasting Notes: Fresh limes, cassia bark and spice on the palate with a firm weizenbock clove finish.

Hickey the Rake 4.2

A Limonata Pale… An Ultra Pale which emulates almost toxic levels of citrus zing. A nuclear sherbet dib-dab of lemon, lime and tropical pineapple.

Tasting Notes: Fruity, tropical, citrus

Jakehead IPA 6.3

Rich/bright & amber/bronze with lots of American hop aroma.

Tasting Notes: Distinctly bittersweet on the palate with a massive hop complexity fashioned deep within the IPA tradition.

Keep Taking the Pilsner 4.0

Low Colour Extra Blond Lager... brewed using high grade concerto pilsner malt and saaz hops. Bottom fermented using an authentic strain of lager yeast then cold conditioned at zero degrees for 3 weeks.

Tasting Notes: Sweet malt on the nose with a dry crisp palate and a delicate herbal finish.

Le Saisonnier 5.4

Lemon Balm & Rosemary Saison… A Belgian style saison brewed using a grist bill of Pilsner, Munich and a hint of Vienna malt.

Tasting Notes: 

Loco No. 1 5.0

This continental style beer is traditionally lagered for 3 weeks at 1oC to give that distinctive lager style and the flavour of a classic hop.

Tasting Notes: Light fruity acidity,

Magick 4.2

Pale gold in colour with a hint of elderflower on the nose. Citrus and spice on the palate with a good bitter finish.

Tasting Notes: Apricot, honey, citrus pith.

Nomi Sorachi 5.3

Single Hopped Sorachi Ace Face Melter… Dill Pickle on the nose, homemade Orange Shred in the bouche, Lemon Grass, Crushed Coriander and Citrus around the throat.

Tasting Notes: 

Puffing Billy 5.5

Deep ebony, nocturnal toned strong best bitter with a mellow blend of roast, cara and black malts. Notes of coffee, tobacco and dark chocolate with an all English bitter finish from the Bramling Cross and Fuggles hops.

Tasting Notes: Berry, fruit, mild spice

Red Kite 4.5

A ruby ale in the style of a traditional ‘scotch’ where the hops are balanced by residual maltiness to give subtle hop character and a rich palate

Tasting Notes: Complex maltiness, subtle hop.

Remain in Light 5.0

A Super Stacked Alpha Pale… a colossus of Citra, Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial submerged in a deep vapour steep followed by a late fermentation dry hop.

Tasting Notes: 

Rocket 5.0

A pale, traditional best bitter. Deceptively easy drinking with a fresh citrus and aromatic character from the Centennial hops. Good bitter finish

Tasting Notes: Toasted nut, fresh citrus finish.

Shot Pit 4.7

A distinctive heavy-weight brown ale with a complex malt character. Brewed from two-row. Crystal and black malts for a full colour and big flavour. Bramling Cross and cascade hops deliver a firm dryness/berry fruit finish.

Tasting Notes: Complex maltiness, berry fruit.

Solar Terminator 5.8

Unfiltered Dry Hop Pils... This sub-solar Dry Hop Pils oscillates between the illuminated day side and the dark of the night.

Tasting Notes: Hop Breed: Equinox HBC 366 shatters the grey line with a planetary mass of lemon, lime, papaya, hard boiled pineapple chunks, green pepper and cedar.

An XPIPA... It's back once again like the lyrical damager!! Wylam and Yeastie Boys switch up the IPA style using a Southern Hemisphere hop heap including... Dr. Rudi, Rakau, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin.

Tasting Notes: Smooth tremors of passionfruit, papaya, mango and pineapple burst into taste waves of gooseberry and white grape vineyard ripeness.
