Once home to a famous malting industry, Sawbridgeworth boasted a King's wedding present to his Queen, a second world war airfield and a world famous plant nursery that brought us the Conference pear. Sawbridgeworth is now home to medieval streets, historic buildings and a modern day palace to celebrity royalty.
