We are under new management!
Kev and Sarah welcome you to The Chequers, a very friendly community pub in an attractive 400-year-old red brick building. Dogs and children are welcome.
Our pub is popular with local people, who enjoy our regular entertainments, such as bands and special themed nights. FREE POOL every Monday and Tuesday nights, traditional cask ale, a jukebox with the latest hits and your golden oldies, freshly filled rolls, toasties, tea, coffee and much more!
There is an outdoor area for smokers, dogs and for children to play. Guests can warm themselves up and be cheered beside the inglenook log and coal fire in winter months. The pub is also available for parties and private functions, large or small.
We have disabled access and FREE PARKING for patrons. We are easily reached by car and public transport - located as we are just down from Hoo Village Square (towards the parish church).
