Lerwick Brewery

This was their first ever release and still remains the most popular beer. Brewed with care in the Shetland Islands on the edge of the North Atlantic, the lager is carefully cold conditioned for at least four weeks do develop its crisp, distinctive taste.

Tasting Notes: It packs a flavour punch, saluting the lightly kilned lager malt, rounding off with a lingering, complimentary bitterness from the Saaz hops. Described by critics as ‘everything a lager should be’, they are proud of this Lager and hope you will enjoy it too.

Azure is named after the colour of the Pacific Ocean as they’ve used hops from either side of the Pacific, Rakau from New Zealand and Cascade from America.

Tasting Notes: This light ale has a refreshingly floral and elderflower nose and taste followed by a bitterness which ties all the flavours together.

Lerwick IPA is a brand new bottled beer. It has a big, hoppy and fruity hit from the Cascade hops, balanced out by a sweet, malty backbone and a slight bitterness to finish it off.

Tasting Notes: 

Tushkar has a smooth and sweet mouthfeel from the finest Scottish oats, chocolate and coffee top notes from the chocolate malt, a light bitterness from the Mittlefruh Hops and a balancing roundness from the respectable 5.5% ABV.
