Welcome to The Kings Arms in Taunton. We are very proud of our service and hospitality and we're sure you'll enjoy your visit to us. We have a cosy and relaxing lounge in which you can unwind from the stresses and strains of life with friends and family.
The Kings Arms was rebuilt in 1904 following a fire to the original 17th Century coaching inn. The current buildingis still full of charm and character and caters for drinkers and diners alike. Inside you'll find a traditional red telephone box - one of the most iconic symbols of Britain gone by.
Well priced food with good portions - you'll appreciate the exceptional value we offer and it doesn't half taste good too! Our chef uses local produce to support the local economy, freshly preparing it and cooking it to your liking to ensure a truly homecooked meal. Wash down your meal with a range of fine quality real ales, wines or non-alcoholic beverages.
We're just a short throw from Somerset county cricket ground, so don't be stumped - put a leg before the other and enjoy a healthly meal with us before or after the match, we're only 5 minutes away. The station is just 15 minutes away too.
It's not always quiet, we offer a great selection of events so make sure you check the events guide often to see what's on. You'll find regular skittles nights, quiz nights and live music on Saturdays. Also we have Sky Sports and you'll appreciate watching the big games on our giant screens and HD plasmas. There really isn't much that can beat the atmosphere of those sporting events than with a group of friends and proper pint.
