Tasting Notes: A regular winner of awards for quality and flavour, and winner of the silver medal at the International Brewing Industry Awards 2002, this refreshing yet full-bodied bitter is a favourite with beer drinkers everywhere. The rich flavours of premium malt and goldings hops are unmistakeable in this will balanced, traditionally brewed bitter.

Born from our oldest master brewer’s rich knowledge of traditional ale recipes, Caledonia Best is brewed with Scottish water, the finest malted Scottish barley, hops and yeast that he himself sources.

Tasting Notes: A malty, roast flavoured pint – it’s sweet and smooth with a pleasant hoppy bitterness and hint of coffee.

Distinctive and long on refreshment. Solid gold in colour, remarkably aromatic, hints of fresh citrus, distinctive light malt and fresh floral flavours, refreshing zesty citric hop, for a mouth-watering finish.

Tasting Notes: Distinctively radiant, deliciously refreshing, Deuchars is a fabulous balance of malt and hops. Discerning beer drinkers consider this to be the benchmark in quality cask beer and for those new to cask, it's the perfect introduction.

A full flavoured Premium Bitter style beer with a malty aroma and hints of raisin and toasty dryness. Brewed with the finest northern barley and southern hops.

Theakston Best Bitter is the leading session ale within the Theakston portfolio. When we refer to a ‘bitter’ beer, the term does not mean sour as in lemons, but dry as in ‘dry white wine’. So Best Bitter is a full bodied, dry beer. We use five different hop varieties to make our Best Bitter forming a complex but subtle taste profile. The combination of dryness as generated by Target and Challenger hops, is balanced by sweetness created by the generous use of prime malting barley providing the perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of food flavours as found in a Ploughman’s lunch for instance.

Tasting Notes: This fine, golden amber beer has a full flavour that lingers pleasantly on the palate. With good bittersweet balance, this beer has a subtle hop character described as sweet and fruity. It's a very refreshing and satisfying pint!
