Dog & Partridge, Manchester

A pub serving food in Manchester.

In a classic English countryside setting near to Daisy Nook, just off Junction 22 of the M60, the Dog and Partridge is a great traditional pub to meet friends and bring the family. We have an extensive beer garden for everyone with a heated patio area and children’s play area surrounding our bowling green. A full food menu is available with daily specials until late all week. Real ales are served at the Dog and Partridge, and there is also a separate smoking room facility.

Monkey Wrench 5.3 Daleside Brewery

This is a dark, strong, smooth malty ale with a touch of sweetness. The hops include Goldings but the malts are dominant in the taste.

Tasting Notes:

Pedigree 4.5 Marstons

Pedigree. Now with added personality. They haven’t changed the taste. Just how it looks. So welcome to the new-look Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that, looking back.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.
