Our aim is to bring you the best of British produce in our traditional style pub. Here at King Eddie's we make the most of British produce by serving simple, rustic, fresh food with as much as possible made on the premises. We make our own pies, sauces, soups and bake our own bread every day.
We have one menu that you can eat anywhere in the pub. It consists of smaller dishes that can be had on their own or as a starter and larger ones for those in need of something to fill them up.
Quality is our highest priority, therefore our meats are sourced from suppliers who use extensive farming methods and none of our fish appears on the 'endangered list' as issued by the Marine Conservation Society.
As for the drinks, we have a great selection of unusual British beers, both on draught and in the bottle and some exquisite still and sparkling wines from the south east of England. Of course the beer and wine lists include some foreign imports as our British producers are not quite up to speed yet.
Our biggest aim is for you to have a good time, so we offer live music on a Thursday and a quiz night on a Sunday. We also open later, until midnight, on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 11.30pm on a Sunday.
