The Picturedrome

A restaurant in Liverpool.

This pub is the former Liverpool Picturedrome. Built in 1910, the cinema closed its doors for the last time in 1958.

The Liverpool Picturedrome was the city's second purpose-built cinema. The first manager of this picture house was one Rex Dooley, with a Mrs Dooley as the proprietor around 1916. In 1937, The Picturedrome changed its name to the Kensington cinema. The Kensington closed in 1958 and was used for many years as a television centre.

Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm.

Tasting Notes: Unmistakeably GUINNESS®, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.
