The Russell Inn is a cosy village, family run pub, situated 50 yards from the picturesque river Fowey. We pride ourselves on our good quality, great value pub food which is, in the main, locally sourced. The pub has a cosy and intimate atmosphere with wooden beams and a log burner. Rob, Sue and their staff offer a warm welcome to all in the family and dogs at The Russell Inn.
The Russell inn first opened in 1832 and the first land lady was Jane Slade, daughter of the owner of the local boat yard. The pub was named after lord john Russell, the Prime Minister at the time.
We look forward to your visit to sample our award winning St. Austell ales and great food. We hold regular quiz nights every Thursday and Saturday night fund raisers throughout the years.
